This project is for improvement of the existing National Road No.1, one of the most important trunk roads in Cambodia, which connects the capital city of Phnom Penh to Vietnam. This is Japanfs ODA grant aid project.
This improvement work is for 9.1km in length of the National Road No.1 (of which total length 56km) starting from 4.0km suburbs of Phnom Penh city to 13.1km towards Vietnam border. The project contains widening and pavement repair work of the existing road.
