Daiho performed the renovation of the administrative building of the Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden in 2002, making the best use of natural sunlight, wind and solar heat, to reduce the life cycle cost of the building. A summary of renewable aspects and effects are;

1) Top light (natural lighting & ventilation)
2) Roof implantation (solar heat insulation)
3) Use of vacuum glass for window (heat insulation)
4) Light duct (lighting control by daylight sensor)
5) Cooling brick (natural air-conditioning)
6) Solar power generating panel (power cost cut)
7) Solar heat collector (warming cost cut)
8) Rainwater collector (water supply cost cut)
